Community Columnist

As a community columnist, I had the privilege of capturing the pulse of the Valley. My work spotlighted the people, places, and pivotal issues shaping our neighborhoods, from profiles on local change makers to thoughtful takes on growth, development, and civic life for publications such as the Arizona Republic.

This role allowed me to blend curiosity with commentary, often diving into the human side of headlines and uncovering the stories that didn’t always make the front page, but mattered deeply to the communities I covered. Whether I was writing about new land use proposals, family-run businesses, or the remarkable lives of everyday Arizonans, I brought a journalist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to each column.
