202 Magazine: Editor in Chief

Sondra Barr co-created 202 Magazine from the ground up, partnering with the publisher to bring the concept to life and guide it through every stage of development. She shaped the editorial direction, managed contributors, produced photo shoots, wrote and edited content, designed layouts, and helped establish the magazine’s distinct voice and brand.

Unlike stepping into an existing title, this was an opportunity to build something from scratch—rooted in community, yet presented with the polish and sophistication of a major lifestyle publication. Each issue reflected a blend of strategy and storytelling, backed by a fully hands-on creative approach.
